About Me

GSR at toyota

Basics:  I was born in Southern California, spent my early childhood in New Mexico, then returned to California.  I moved to Las Vegas, NV, about 12 years ago.  I am 67 years old at the time of this writing.

Personal:  I'm in a loving and successful 37 year marriage.  My wife and I are retired.  I have a daughter and two grandchildren.  My daughter is a professional and my grandchildren are students.  I enjoy several hobbies including exercise, computers, and music.

Education:  I graduated High School in Los Angeles, CA.  I have a BA degree, an MA degree, and a Doctorate from fully accredited institutions of higher learning.

Military:  I served in the USAF and was Honorably Discharged in 1967.

Experience:  I worked my way through school as an insurance claims adjuster.  That was my introduction to helping people in times of death, injury, and loss.  I ran a professional practice for nearly 30 years helping people in all kinds of difficulty.  In addition to my private practice, I worked at a community resource center counseling individuals and families in trouble.

Christian:  I was baptized and raised as an Episcopalian.  I fell away from the church in my youth, and it had become unrecognizable to me by the time I returned to my faith in Jesus.  I am a mostly self-taught Christian.  I have been an Ordained Minister since 2003.

I lead a happy life.  God blessed me with a successful career and an early retirement.  I seem to be busier than ever these days.  My life is full with His presence, my family, and a multitude of good friends.
